Definition of an Industrial Fanless PC

 

An industrial Fanless PC is a computer designed to operate without mechanical ventilation and for use in industrial or harsh environments (rail, maritime, vehicle, etc.). The Fanless PC's heat dissipation is provided by an extruded aluminium chassis, often ribbed, which acts as a passive heat sink. This choice allows :

  • Quiet operation.
  • Longer service life (no moving parts).
  • Increased immunity to dust and humidity (IP50+).
  • Reduced maintenance requirements.

These machines are ideal for environments that are sensitive, confined or subject to severe physical stress.

Scalable Fanless PCs

Fanless Rail-DIN PCs

Our Fanless Rail-DIN PCs are designed for easy integration into electrical cabinets or automation racks. Compact, robust and silent, they offer excellent resistance to vibration and a wide range of I/O ports to adapt to constrained industrial environments. Thanks to their standard DIN mounting and 9-36 VDC power supply, they are ideal for automation, supervision or edge computing applications in industrial environments.

Mini Fanless PCs / NUC

Some Fanless PC models are ideally suited to rail, maritime and vehicle applications, thanks to their vibration resistance, wide-range DC power supply (9-36 V) and mechanical robustness. They can also be used as ECUs for maritime navigation, geolocation systems or data collection platforms in fleets of connected vehicles.
